my little nook of London

I used to work around the corner from Lamb's Conduit Street in London and nothing makes me happier than the huge growth of independent stores and cafe's and very good restaurants around there.

They're a true community that has become established there and I think the commitment they all have to something they're passionate about is very inspiring.

Monocle did a very nice little video about it a while ago and it features Marc Kennard who I knew well when I was there and gave up his very high paying job for something he just really wanted to do.

If you go to London and you're headed to the British Museum or just find yourself bopping around Holborn, you must visit.

notice

I love skateboards as something to hang on the wall. If you know me, you know that I do not possess the coordination to use a skateboard to actually skate... The above version can be bought on Mary & Matt.

In my dream world, I'd have one of these from Supreme - Damien Hirst's spin art. Beauty.

Generic Man Pop Up at Space 15 Twenty

I went to see this space on Saturday and it looks amazing... It's like a dream home for design nuts and made me want to go out and buy vintage recorders.

Also, drive that little car right out of there. It would certainly help me get around LA...

With Valentines day coming up, I think it's only right that I bookmark lovely things for lovely romantic types to give me as a token of love.
From one of my favourite online retailers, Erin Basie.
